The national finals of the 2019 competition will be held in mid November in Jinjiang, Fujian.

In 2019, the competition was conducted in a comprehensive way, combining training and competition, and linking basic operations with new skills. The selection campaign was launched in July in the main warp knitting industrial cluster in the country, requiring the participants to have solid basic skills and good professional quality, and the three basic operations are highly skilled and efficient. At the end of September, Guangdong and other provinces and cities preliminaries showed that the speed and quality of players were significantly higher than those expected at the beginning of the year.

The warp knitting industry has carried out the training of operational skills on a large scale, and has put forward new ideas for the manufacture of warp knitting machines.
