Bangladesh Exporting Gas Distribution Company To Raise Price Is Opposed By Textile Association

According to the financial bulletin March 13th, Bangladesh Titas Gas distribution company recently proposed to increase the price of natural gas per cubic meter from 9.62 Taka to 18.85 Taka, which was strongly opposed by the Bangladesh Textile Industry Association. Ali, chairman of the association, said that the price raising plan was unreasonable and opposed any price increase plan before the Gas distribution company could ensure stable supply of gas. In addition, it was claiming that Gas distribution company could not maintain stable supply of gas.
