Adidas Executives Bribe High School Basketball Players To Be Sentenced To 9 Months' Imprisonment

In March 5th, the 5 day of the bribery of men's Basketball Association (NCAA), which was hit by the US, was sentenced. Three people were sent to prison for pporting profits to the student players.

Adidas, a famous sports brand, was sentenced to 9 months in jail and two were sentenced to 6 months in jail.

They were identified as bribing some promising high school basketball players and their families, thereby affecting their future choice of universities and sponsors.

Judge Kaplan, who pronounced the sentence, said that although the defendant did not get a penny from these bribes, their career would also yield a lot of benefits in the long run.

Kaplan also said that several defendants believed that many people had done the same thing but were at large, but they could not deny their crimes.

Kaplan hoped that the sentencing of the case could launch a "huge warning" to the dirty side of college basketball.

He also expressed regret for his actions.
