The Garner Standard Bureau will implement the "product qualifying plan" for regulated imported products from October 1, 2014.

The plan is the process of determining whether the imported products will meet the relevant standards before exporting to the target country, so as to ensure that the import is entered into Garner. market The products meet the quality requirements in safeguarding personal health and safety and protecting the environment.

Everything to be exported to Ghana In the "product qualifying plan", the product is required to have Certificate of Conformity since October 1, 2014. If there is no certificate, the 30% penalty will be imposed by the Garner Standards Bureau.

The plan will be authenticated by authorized third party organizations, through physical inspection combined with laboratory testing, document review and factory audit. Worldwide, the agency that represents the Garner standard office is the Swiss general surveyor (SGS) and the French commodity inspection company (BIVAC).

The plan will adopt " Exporter pays "Mode" so that importers can not bear the loss of product certification. The supplier / Producer / exporter of the exporting country must pay the relevant fees for the certification of the third party organization. The supplier / manufacturer / exporter has the responsibility to prove that his product meets Garner's standards.
