From this year on, China's textile exports will no longer be restricted by quotas.

Many knitting enterprises are worried about this. They are worried about the sluggish demand in the United States, and worry that the US government will re-use the "stick" policy.

According to a survey by authoritative organizations, enterprises are generally not optimistic about the "free trade" era in 2009, which is affected by the financial crisis. Whether it is export or domestic demand, enterprises are afraid to hold too much hope.

The survey shows that although most companies believe that this year's export prospects for textile and clothing products are worrying, they still prefer the government's measures to ensure orderly export of products.

With regard to the biggest challenge facing the current export, 20.37% of voters believe that the main reason is that the global financial crisis has led to the reduction of orders or the pfer of orders in Europe and the United States. 20.37% of the voters believe that the RMB exchange rate trend is uncertain for the main export markets, and 19.76% of the voters choose the cost (including raw materials, labor, energy, logistics and other costs). They believe that the biggest export challenge comes from the highest proportion of foreign technology and trade barriers, together accounting for 39.5% of the total number of voters.

In the face of the sluggish external demand, many foreign trade enterprises began to extend their tentacles to the domestic market, especially under the stimulation of a series of policies of expanding domestic demand and ensuring growth.

Investigation shows that quite a lot of textile enterprises have doubts about the development of the domestic market.

Only 27.27% of the enterprises believe that the domestic market can make a difference; 72.73% of the enterprises say the domestic market is difficult to open, and the main bottleneck lies in the channel construction, brand building and difficulty in recognition, fierce competition in the same industry, and the great credit risk of currency payment.

Among them, the proportion of the most intense competition in the industry is the highest, accounting for 20.89%, accounting for 19.62% of the main bottleneck of the channel construction. It is considered that the bottleneck lies in 19.62% of the brand building and awareness. It is considered that the credit risk of the currency payment is 20.25%. 19.62% of the voters think that the bottleneck lies in the cost and other aspects.

"The abolition of quotas is a good thing in general, and maybe we can get back a lot of orders."

Song Yuping, chairman of Jiangsu sage Textile Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

Orders lost to neighboring countries will be returned to Chinese textile enterprises as the US textile quotas are abolished.

She said that because of the "lack of money," some intermediary companies malicious price increases, the price of individual categories of quotas and even the normal export price of 3~4 times.

From January 1st to now, it has been more than a month since the quota was liberalized. The knitting enterprises obviously felt the pressure.

American direct traders and most intermediaries have been forced to lower prices, resulting in a decline in overall export prices, and the global financial crisis has seriously weakened the US's spending power and affordability.

A knitting enterprise official said, everyone hopes to receive a large order in the United States, but now the relevant policies are not yet clear, enterprises dare not blindly take orders, fear of quota cancellation, the new barriers bombing.

In addition, the global economic situation is not clear this year.
