Brazil Intends To Carry Out Anti-Dumping Duties On Vietnamese Shoes

According to Vietnam "Xigong Liberation Daily" reported on December 26th, the Ministry of industry and trade of Vietnam said that the Brazil footwear industry association has formally prosecuted Vietnam's footwear, and the Brazil Trade Protection Bureau has begun to accept the case.

The shoes that were sued for dumping may include leather shoes, rubber shoes, rubber soles, synthetic leather soles and cooked leather.

In 2007, Brazil imported 28 million 600 thousand pairs of shoes, of which 2 million 300 thousand were imported from Vietnam.
