A Textile Factory In Ningbo Destroyed A More Than 1000 Square Meter Cotton Warehouse After A Fire.

On the afternoon of 25, at 4:50 PM, a fire broke out in the raw material warehouse of Ningbo Hualian color spinning Co., Ltd. in Beilun District of Zhejiang. The fire broke out for nearly four hours and destroyed more than 1000 square meters of cotton depot. Fortunately, the fire officers and soldiers rushed to the scene to fight, causing no casualties.

It is understood that after receiving the alarm, the Beilun fire brigade immediately dispatched 5 fire engines to rescue 35 officers and soldiers. The Beilun fire brigade also contacted the surrounding enterprise fire brigade to ask for reinforcements.

When the officers and soldiers arrived at the scene, they found that the warehouse of raw materials and materials covering about more than 1000 square meters had been completely burned.

Because the structure is a steel warehouse, some buildings have collapsed, and the flames are constantly sprouting through collapsed cracks and windows. This directly threatens the canteen and workshop adjacent to the fire field, which is only about 5 meters.

After a simple reconnaissance, the fire commanders immediately ordered two vehicles to deploy two water guns from the west side of the warehouse to fight the fire. Ordered three vehicles to deploy four water pistols from the east side of the warehouse and a mobile gun to control the fire, so as to prevent further expansion of the fire.

It is reported that the fire was controlled around 7:30 that evening, but because of the dense cotton accumulation, there were still many cotton in the smoldering fire. The firefighters could not attend to the meal, using the tools of fire hook, sand spade and cart to move all the cotton piles in the warehouse to the safe side. After more than four hours of heroic fighting by the fire officers and soldiers, the fire was completely extinguished at 9:30.

Later, according to the person in charge of the plant, around 4:50, when he was on duty, he found that the warehouse windows were flare up, so he immediately asked people to put out a fire extinguisher to fight. But because of the big fire, the fire extinguisher could not be saved. Call 119 immediately to ask the fire brigade for help.

It is understood that the plant was built four years ago, and has only recently begun to use temporary warehouses. A large number of flammable materials such as white cotton and waste cotton have been piled up. Once the fire spread, the consequences will be disastrous.

Due to the full rescue of the fire officers and soldiers, the fire has been effectively prevented from further enlargement, so that the loss of the factory has been reduced to a minimum, and the safety of the local residents and the buildings around the fire has been preserved.

At present, the cause and loss of fire are under investigation.
