The quality of products has been checked by state supervision.

A total of 200 children and infant clothing products produced by 200 enterprises in 9 provinces and municipalities in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong and Guangdong were surveyed.


Spot check basis



Based on the requirements of the national basic safety technical specification for textiles, GB 18401, the spot checks were conducted on 10 items of fiber composition and content, formaldehyde content, pH value, water fastness, dry rubbing fastness, color fastness to moisture, color fastness to perspiration, color fastness to saliva, color fastness to wash, and carcinogenic aromatic amine dye of children and infant clothing products.


Spot check results


Spot checks found that 26 products do not meet the standard requirements, involving fiber composition and content, pH value, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dye, wet rubbing color fastness project.
