Sweden

Sales of Swedish clothing and shoes began to pick up in February this year after two consecutive months of decline.

According to the sales index recently released by the Swedish Retail Business Research Institute, the sales volume of national clothing in Sweden increased by 4.3% in February compared with the same period last year, and the sales volume of shoes increased by 3.8% over the same period last year.

In this way, clothing sales in the first two months of this year increased by 2% compared with the same period last year, and the sales of shoes dropped by 2.5%.

Sander Strom, head of the Swedish Institute for retail business, said that the main reason for the recovery of clothing and shoes is the early spring this spring, and people have begun to add spring clothes.

The Institute estimates that sales of clothing and shoes increased by 4.3% and 7.3 last year, which is likely to slow down this year.
