International clothing is becoming mainstream. With ZARA, UNIQLO, H&M and other fast fashion giants entering Hangzhou gradually, competition in garment industry has intensified.

Many owners of traditional clothing believe that cater to the fast fashion consumption trend, the main trend of fashion casual clothing will undoubtedly help enterprises to achieve new expansion.

In Li Rugang's view, the consumption of suits and knitwear is large, so the growth is slow, while the domestic casual wear market is very large, especially in the two or three line city market.


Keep up with "fast fashion"


In recent three years, ZARA, H&M, UNIQLO and other fast fashion brands have been developing rapidly in Hangzhou. They not only accelerate the pace of opening stores, but also open up larger stores, and have opened more than two thousand square meters of large stores, and intend to make more profits in the mode of big stores.

The rapid development of fast fashion brands has even cooled the fashionable ONLY, VERO MODA, ESPRIT and other fashionable brands in Hangzhou.


In the view of analysts, this fast fashion trend from Europe and the United States has become the mainstream of the clothing industry.

Young consumers composed of post-80s and post-90s are very sensitive to fashion elements and fashion. They are willing to choose younger clothes.

This also directly affects the domestic garment enterprises.


However, Zhejiang garment enterprises are involved in fast fashion industry, and high store rentals will become a stumbling block for brand development.

"Entering the fast fashion industry means rapid expansion."

Li Rugang, vice chairman of YOUNGOR group, said that the rent of the stores in the second tier cities has risen sharply, and that if the enterprises want to make profits, they will raise the retail price of the clothes, and the retail price will be 10 times the cost price.

And the retail price of casual wear will lose the attention of some young people.

In the past few years, YOUNGOR has invested four billion five billion yuan to buy shops in the whole country, and paved the way for fashion industry.

At the moment, when the rent is high, it will be difficult to enter the industry again.
