AAFA Intellectual Property Law

The United States clothing and Footwear Association (AAFA) supports the proposal of Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Olin Hacci (Orrin Hatch) (R-Utah), the 2011 intellectual property protection act proposed by Richard Patrick Leahy (R-Iowa Grassley) and seven co sponsors to prevent real economic creativity, network risk and theft.

The specific target of protecting intellectual property law is rogue websites, which use e-commerce distribution strategy to sell counterfeit goods and counterfeit goods all over the world.

"Because American consumers continue to use e-commerce as the main shopping mode, the hooligan website has gradually become a popular way for counterfeiters to send fake products to the United States."

"All industries are beset by counterfeit products. I applaud Senator Clancy's diligence in solving this problem," Burke said.

"The clothing and footwear industry in the United States is committed to combating these fake websites. This bill has set a right direction, providing us with a complete tool to protect against these hooligan websites."

It is understood that in general

The leading period of the production cycle is generally 12 to 18 months, so the high cotton prices after soaring cotton prices in the second half of 2010 will probably be reflected in the second half of this year.

Excluding seasonal factors, cotton clothing (above 50% cotton) was converted to an average cost of 3.15 US dollars per square meter in February, still below the pre recession level.

Taking into account the skyrocketing cotton prices this year, the CIF and retail prices of apparel products are expected to increase in the coming months.

Recently, some American fabric factories and garment factories have fewer orders.

The upstream enterprises of the industrial chain have been struggling.

However, according to the survey data from the American Cotton Association, the booming textile industry in China over the past 20 years has brought the world a period of low inflation and high development.

Therefore, the clothing retail prices in overseas markets have not declined with CPI in recent years.
