Andam Design Award Announces Shortlist For 2011

Many people in the industry were disappointed by the 2010 Andam awards. This award award for fashion show rookie announced the list of 2011 entries: Adam Kimmel, Anthony Vaccarello, Commuun, Jeremy Laing, Matthew Harding and Yiqing Yin. It will be officially announced in June 29th.

This year, there are 45 selected lists. The bonus amount reached 200 thousand euros, less than 220 thousand euros last year, but the champion can also get SWAROVSKI crystal value of 10 thousand euros for the design of its 2012 spring summer series, and Ralph Toledano for two consecutive quarters to provide professional guidance for the champion, to assist in planning creative development and marketing operations. Finally, the Department of Lafayette also provides La Suite area for its champion as its personal showroom. 　

Although this year's bonus is not as rich as last year, it is still the highest value compared with other European and American similar Awards (CFDA/Vogue New York awards, BFC/Vogue London awards, Swiss clothing and textile Awards). The bonus is sponsored by many new and old partners (Pierre Berg&eacute, Yves Saint Laurent fund, old Buddha department store, LVMH group and GUCCI group). The newest partners who joined last year include Only The Brave and Canada Hudson" s Bay department store.

In respect of the award criteria, Andam pays special attention to the terms of use of bonus. That is, bonuses must be used to pay for the expenses of French enterprises or service providers, especially for hosting fashion shows. The association also increased requirements last year, and the winners must start businesses or branches in France.
