London Fashion Week Innovation

London Fashion Week was held in from February 18th to 23rd.

According to the data provided by the Fashion Council of London Fashion Week, 65 fashion shows and 45 salon shows and promotions were held in 6 days. Fifth men's wear day held 14 events and 7 promotional activities.

During the London Fashion Week, 170 British and international rookie and well-known fashion designers and accessories designers took part in the static exhibition, including 22 designers who were funded by the Estethica project and 17 sponsored by NEWGEN project. The exhibition hall has 4 multi brand exhibition hall.

One of the highlights of this fashion week is the continued implementation of the digital fashion innovation strategy by the British Fashion Council, which brings fashion to London's audience, including office workers, shoppers and tourists, through digital technology, giving them the opportunity to see the latest press conference.

There is a collection of daily show videos on the London subway screen, which is also provided by micro-blog on fashion week. In addition, the LED screen, located in the courtyard of the sojmor palace in the fashion show, shows the highlights of the daily show and broadcasts the fashion show.

37 fashion shows were broadcast live in this fashion week, 27 of which were released at the somersau palace, the official show. The 9 was sponsored by Topshop, the sponsor of fashion week, in its official release of the old fish market, and the publication of Bai Boli (Burberry) was broadcast live in over 150 countries.

In February 21st, the landmark 32 meter large digital screen, Piccadilly Circus, broadcast the publication of cypress, which is the first time that all brands have been released.

In 2009, the British Fashion Council launched a digital innovation strategy aimed at improving the global influence of British designers through technology and innovation.

London has been positioned as a technology leader in presenting fashion shows to global audiences.

During this week's fashion week, the London Fashion Week mobile key words also brought real time fashion shows and activities updates and fashion week news to the audience.

As the London Fashion week ended, a serious topic did not end.

Boris Johnson, the mayor of London, is proud that fashion week has contributed more than 100 million pounds to the city's economy. However, this has not stopped him from cutting the budget of the main sponsor of the London Development Week London Fashion week.

In recent years, London has been leading the global fashion trend.

Many famous designers including Vivian Westwood (Vivienne Westwood), Paul Smith (Paul Smith) and Alexander MacQeen (Alexander McQueen) have been trained here.

In fact, the fashion industry is now one of the most important export industries in Britain. According to the British Fashion Council's fashion value report, the industry's output to the UK is 21 billion pounds, which is higher than that of the British Telecommunications and advertising industry. This should be a pride to the fashion industry.

However, in order to maintain this level of expansion, emerging British designers need financial assistance.

By the end of March, the London Development Agency had cut its budget by 86%, which brought risks to grants, investment projects and promotional activities.

Future designers who usually request funds and guidance from the London Development Department must now rely on private investors or to show them in other international fashion week.

Over the past 3 years, the London Development Department has allocated more than 4 million 500 thousand pounds to the British Fashion Council, a nonprofit organization hosting the London Fashion week.

But the mayor of London has not confirmed whether the appropriation will still be effective in 2012.

No allocation is unlikely, at least not at the rate of 1 million a year, because the London Development Department is the most important sponsor of the Fashion Forward, which provides talented young designers with two release seasons and valuable guidance for them. Today, the project is sponsored by Coutts& Co bank.

A fashion show in London costs up to 50 thousand pounds, and only the richest fashion design graduates can afford it. They even ask a large group of trainees to help them without any cost.

Since the implementation of the "fashion frontier" project, the London Development Agency has supported 13 new designers, including Giles Deacon, Christopher Kane Christopher and Erdem (Erdem), and so on. Giles Deacon has been supporting the development of the company.

11 of the 13 recipients were studied at the central Saint Martin Institute in London, which is now listed as one of the hardest hit areas affected by the government's cuts in university funding.

The British media is worried that the level of creativity is expected to decline, and that tuition fees are likely to rise, which makes the next generation of designers in the UK disadvantaged.
