The volunteers plan to recruit 500 thousand people. They are divided into two categories: urban volunteer service station (point) volunteers and urban civilized volunteers. Among them, 50 thousand volunteers will be set up at the more than 500 volunteer service stations (points) of the city to carry out volunteer service, such as order maintenance, language plation, information inquiry and so on. 450 thousand volunteers of urban civilization volunteers will carry out public order maintenance, public civilization advocacy and other volunteer services around the venues, main traffic crossroads, bus stops, communities and public squares.
Station (point) volunteer clothing is a set of sportswear, while the clothing of urban civilized volunteers is waistcoat, which is mainly composed of fresh green and white.
According to Wang Huanqing, city volunteers can take public pportation such as buses, subways, public ferry and so on by uniform or certificate.
However, the clothes and certificates of city volunteers are not allowed to be borrowed, otherwise they will be punished.
