"After the signing of ECFA, we are more confident."

Recently, Taiwanese businessmen in Shishi, Fujian province have said that with the gradual reduction and elimination of trade and investment barriers between the two sides, the exchange of textile and garment industry between the two sides will usher in a new climax.

In June 29th, Chen Yunlin, chairman of the Association for relations across the Taiwan Straits and Jiang Bingkun, chairman of the Taiwan Strait Exchange Foundation, signed the "framework agreement on economic cooperation across the Straits" in Chongqing.

The signing of ECFA will play a key role in the economic growth of Taiwan in the next ten years.

We both approve. "

In this regard, Wu Qiming, a Taiwanese businessman, said that he had been in Shishi for five years and had long been looking forward to this day.

He believes that the signing of the agreement will be conducive to the upgrading of Shishi textile industry. Shishi can make full use of Taiwan's R & D and global operation energy, Hongkong's financial center and the mainland's abundant production energy and the huge market yet to be developed, and gradually promote the upgrading of the industry.

Taiwanese businessman Chen Jiansheng said that in comparison, Taiwan has many advantages in textile upstream products, especially fabric research and development, design and talent.

Over the years, the Taiwan textile industry has made full use of Shishi's strong textile and garment industry base and well-known market advantages both at home and abroad. It has brought Taiwan's advanced technology and production technology to Shishi, and has promoted the quality of the local garment industry in various fields such as textile technology, clothing design, electronic machinery, computer application and so on.

After signing ECFA, the two sides will be more conducive to promoting the docking of Shishi and Taiwan's textile industry.

He said he plans to move his clothing research and design headquarters in Taipei directly to Shishi in two years.

He said that the degree of cross-strait economic integration will reach an unprecedented level in the near future. There will be no difference between the development of Shishi and the development of Taipei. Let alone Shishi have the advantage of a complete industrial chain and rely on the vast market of the mainland.

It is reported that in recent years, the economic and trade exchanges between Shishi and Taiwan have shown a significant increase. The exchanges and cooperation between the two sides have created new advantages for jointly developing the international market, especially the cooperation and exchanges between the textile and garment industry.

By the end of last year, Taiwan businessmen had invested nearly 300 projects in Shishi, with a total investment of more than about 3000000000 Yuan, most of them in the textile and garment industry.

In April 18th this year, during the thirteenth cross strait textile and clothing Expo, the second Shishi textile and garment docking special meeting was held as scheduled, and 7 projects were contracted, involving a total investment of nearly 600 million yuan.

During this year's "6 / 18" Eighth China Straits project outcome fair, Shishi and Taiwan have successfully joined a number of projects, with a total investment of over 450 million yuan.
