The new edition of European skateboard and roller skates standard EN13613:2009 and BSEN13843:2009 has replaced the old version of standard EN13613:2001 and BSEN13843:2003.

Britain has been enacted in February 28, 2010.

New standard


The new version of EU13613 is revised as follows:


Revised the category of clause 4.1.

For class A

The description of speed in Clause 6.7.2 and 6.10.2 changed the original "5m/s" to "18km/h" (the two actually coincide).


Amendments to articles 7d and E).

For clause e, the "warning about wearing protective equipment at any time" is replaced by "suggestion: protective equipment is recommended".


Modify the contents of maintenance and maintenance in articles 8.3A and F).

For clause A, "notes on the different properties and maintenance of various bearing structures" are replaced by "related matters".

The new edition 13843 is revised as follows: the term "shoe last" is added to Clause 5.3.


Clause 5.4.7 has added "loosening the installed starting and / or braking device".


The revision of the roller skates chassis in Clause 5.4.1 has been amended: "the bottom of the shoe last should cover at least 75% of the roller skates sole".


(Amendment to clause 7.2.3b) the contents of maintenance and repair were added: "brake equipment parts" was added.
