AOKANG Joint Industrial Chain To Shoe Material Green Low Carbon Action
AOKANG wants to build "low carbon" leather shoes, and combines the upstream and downstream industry chain rates to pay first.
At the AOKANG supplier conference held recently, AOKANG issued more than 200 raw materials suppliers to the nation's green sourcing standards, which means that low carbon failed to meet the standards may become a reason why AOKANG refused to purchase.
Wang Zhentao, chairman of AOKANG, said that green, environmental protection and low carbon will be the trend of the footwear industry in the future. The purpose of this "green procurement standard for shoe materials" is to ensure the environmental quality of products from the source.
It is reported that the standard specifies the green procurement requirements for leather, textile fabrics, substrates, decorative buttons, chemical materials and packaging materials for shoes, and is suitable for the design, production and sale of products and their manufacturing process.
On the same day, 6 ISO/TC137 international footwear standardization technical experts from South Africa, Britain, Germany and other countries came to visit AOKANG. When they heard that AOKANG first issued the "green procurement standard" for the raw material suppliers, the chairman of the ISO/TC137 international footwear Standardization Technology Committee, the British Philip Wilson Michael, was full of praise.
