Deng Liansong has gone through many hardships for scientific research. It was the eighth day of the first month of 2001. After the first day's on-site inspection, Deng Liansong took the train from Huaihua to Changsha overnight the next day. As there were no seats on the crowded bus, Deng Liansong stood on the bus and found a seat with difficulty. He fell asleep because he was too tired. He didn't wake up until all the passengers in the whole carriage got off after the train arrived at the station. After Deng Liansong woke up, he found that his shoes were gone. So he got out of the car barefoot and wanted to buy a pair of shoes to put on. Since the shops were not open for more than six o'clock in the morning, he did not buy the shoes to wear. When Deng Liansong walked home barefoot, his feet were swollen like buns.

After more than 10 years of dedicated research, the wind swept ring mill invented by Deng Liansong has become the key equipment for grinding production. Compared with traditional similar equipment, it has obvious advantages of high efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection, and is now widely used in mining, metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials, ceramics, thermoelectric, refractory and other industries.

The reporter learned at the scene that this set of equipment developed by Deng Liansong mainly produces three forces at the same time in operation, which integrates impact crushing, rolling crushing and shearing crushing, greatly improving productivity. Deng Liansong told reporters that at present, the process equipment developed by him can produce 20 tons of mineral powder per hour. At the same time, it can also save energy, achieve low noise, less dust, low iron consumption, and fill the domestic gap. According to an expert evaluation of a company in Beijing, the value of patented technology is more than 24 million yuan.
