According to customs statistics, in 2008 1-6, China's textile machinery imports totaled 2 billion 398 million US dollars, of which imports of knitting machinery amounted to US $564 million, accounting for 23.50% of total imports. In the 1-6 month of 2008, China exported 821 million US dollars of textile machinery, of which the export of knitting machinery still took the lead, with a total export volume of 242 million US dollars, accounting for 29.49% of the total export volume.
