After the outbreak of the international financial crisis, many foreign trade enterprises in Ningbo have different degrees of influence, especially the export profits of some labor-intensive enterprises.

In response, Wang Xingping suggested that these enterprises should abandon the traditional export ideas of "quantity oriented" and "scale oriented", and speed up the pformation to "efficiency oriented" exports, and enhance product development and brand creation.


"At present, many export industries in Ningbo have not yet got rid of the extensive growth mode. Taking the traditional textile industry in Xiangshan, Ningbo as an example, many enterprises have low added value of export products and small proportion of private brand exports, which is very unfavorable in the global trade benefit distribution."

Wang Xingping believes that in addition to increasing the proportion of brand exports in the export sector, Ningbo's foreign trade enterprises should also take the initiative to go abroad.

"Some foreign trade enterprises are in a difficult position under the pressure of financial crisis. An important reason is that they do not have their own sales channels, which are subject to foreign intermediaries for a long time and rely on their orders."

He suggested that foreign trade enterprises should base themselves on the international market and "go out" to open up sales channels and strive for more export benefits.
